WATER SUPPLY CLEARANCE
(a) All child care centers where water for human consumption is from a private
source shall meet the following requirements:
- (1) As a condition of initial licensure, the applicant shall provide evidence
of an onsite inspection of the source of the water and a bacteriological analysis
that establishes the safety of the water. The inspection and the bacteriological
analysis shall be conducted by the local health department, the California
Department of Health Services or a licensed commercial laboratory.
- (2) Subsequent to initial licensure, the licensee shall provide evidence
of a bacteriological analysis of the private water supply as frequently as
is necessary to ensure the safety of the children, but no less frequently
than specified in the following table:
