INTRODUCTION

1. The legal base for these licensing requirements is in the Delaware Code, Title 3l, Chapter 3, Subchapter II, Subsections 34l-344 and Title 29,Chapter 90, Subsection 9003 (7).

PURPOSE

2. The overall purpose of these requirements is the protection of the health, safety and well-being of children who receive services in day care centers.
