How Much do you Charge for SA b4/after School?

I'm just throwing around some ideas right now, but I have NO idea what most people charge for this? Do you do it by the hr? By the day? weather its am & pm? Can you gals give me some ideas? I'm in NY if it helps, and I have NO idea what it goes for here...

We charge $10 a day. She's here from 7:30-8:15 and 4:15-5:30.

I charge $7/day for this. However, the SA I watch will be here from 7:00 am until 7:50 (to get on the bus) & then will only be here from 3:30 (off the bus) until 3:45 pm so I am only caring for her for about 1 1/4 hrs. For anyone else (normally 2 hrs or more a day) I'd probably charge $10/day. I do watch this SA's younger brother so I will willing to give them a discount. If the kids have a day off b/c of bad weather or early school release I charge an extra fee.

Now how do you work it if they only want to come on certain days?

I would like to try to get $50 per wk per kid, no matter what the days, but dont know if I can ask that.

I charge $5.oo a day - but I only have them for about an hour in the morning and 20 minutes at night...I dont charge when they arent here.

Yes, I would offer breakfast/snack if needed.

I do before and after and provide a pm snack, and charge $16 per day. I wouldn't do it for less than 15, but that's the going rate in my area.
