Cool Your Soup

When I make soup for the kids they always complain its too hot. So instead of waiting for it to cool now I throw in a 1/4 cup of frozen veggies into each bowl before I pour the soup. The veggies thaw and the soup cools enough for the kids.

Just thought I'd share. it works for casseroles and pasta too.

I have plastic ice cubes that I use that are different shapes and they can eat their soup and then I wash them and put them back in the freezer for next time. the frozen veggies is a good idea too.
