I need help finding a website or store that carries the bubble wand I'm looking for. I saw someone the other day using a frisbee as their pan and had this typical looking bubble wand. The unique thing about this wand was that it made small bubbles inside of a huge 2-3 foot long bubble. I asked the lady where she got it and all she said was the bought it about five years ago. LOL.

I've googled this for a good half hour and my most-recent store purchase of a "double bubble" wasn't what it said it was. Please help, I really want that wand! :ouch: Her wand almost looked like it came from a dollar store, nothing fancy about it so this is driving me nuts!

I saw a whole bunch of large bubble wands that sound like what you described tonight in Target's dollar section.

I bought 10 of those! They work really well! This might be what you are after, the bubbles all kind of form together into a huge bubble until the kids get foam in the pan and then it blows smaller individual bubbles.

Yes target dollar bins and dollar tree
I also bought frisbee to go with. Last year I bought metal pie pans but the kids bent them up and eventually the bubbles spilled.
Also at toys r us has a really cool bubble wand that makes giant bbbles.
I got mine from a place called thinker toys and it cost me $20 but a week later I saw them at toys are us for $8.00
The wand is super cool. But you have to do it, the under 5 can't make the bubbles with it.

I have thought of doing a water table day with a big bin full of bubble solution and those big bubble wands would be perfect for the purpose. I may have to go back to Target this weekend and buy a few.

What's the best bubble solution? I bought a pan and two really huge bubble wands the other day, but they haven't been working very well because the bubble solution that came with it sucks.

I bought some small bottles of Amazing Bubbles from Target, and I don't let the kids blow it - I blow them - and it makes awesome bubbles. Only thing is, I didn't see a big jug.

Does dish soap and water work at all? Thats what I put in my "water table" sometimes...but we never tried to blow bubbles with it.

if you have badminton rackets around, or can pick some up at the dollar store, they work very well for hundreds of bubbles at one time. the kids really like that.

I made bubble solution years ago with just some dawn dish soap and water which worked, but I'm sure these would be best. I've heard it is best to add glycerin to the ingredients. I saw a youtube video yesterday and they bought a gallon jug of water. Then dumped out about 2 cups to have some room in the jug for the dawn soap and a little glycerin and then just rolled the jug upside down a few times. The demonstration made great sized bubbles.

(They did NOT shake to mix, just rotated the jug a few times to mix)
Here is a link with many ways to make your own bubbles.
