Hi
My husband is working for multinational co on H1b visa status. I have plenty of time all day which I want to utilize by opening a daycare as I love childrens very much. Is it possible to open a daycare on H4 (dependent of H1b visa) in california. I live here in rented apartment. Also I tried to browse thru the guideline provided in your website but it is not clear whether I am eligible or not.

In our opinion you should be able to operate a daycare in California having a H1-B spouse under H4. You would need to apply for license through the CA Child Care Licensing Agency and we suggest you contact them directly and make sure:

Child Care Licensing Agency
