NYC Group Day Care

Hi,
I am currently a teacher that wants to start a Group Day Care at home but I really dont know where to start. Can somebody guide me?

Call the New York City Department of Health Bureau of Daycare and request a Group Family Daycare Application packet. It should take a few weeks to arrive to you by mail. I don't have their number handy but I'm sure you can find it easily on the web or by calling 311. You will also have to go for Health & Safety training and get a 30 hour certificate to submit with your application. When you call to request your packet ask them for a list of trainers in your borough. Hope this helps.
