I use mats. They take up less space than cots, are cushier than the cots, are easy to sterilize and store.

Parents bring bedding on first day of are, I wash weekly. I want to make sure it's here on Monday, so I don't send it home.

I sleep all of my children in the playroom. My space is broken up into centers, so the children have solid barriers between them, which reduces the amount of play at naptime. They can have books on their mat, but they must all try to fall asleep.

School-agers stay in the living room during nap and are offered books, drawing, puzzles, etc.
