Default Hospital Grade EPA Cleaner...That's Natural??

So for sanitizing purposes we are are required to use a Hospital Grade EPA registered cleaner (or the daily mixed bleach mixture).

Does anyone know of a more natural cleaner that would fit that bill??

I like tea tree oil. I'm not sure if it's recognized by the EPA for being antibacterial, although it should be!

I love tea tree oil, although I'm not sure if it's recognized by the EPA for being antibacterial. If you google tea tree oil vs triclosan, there is plenty of evidence that makes me believe it's just as effective, if not more! It even fights MRSA!!

You could try Basic G from Shaklee, it's non-toxic (in diluted form) and most licensors are fine with it.

Here's a page I found relating directly with it's use in Daycares, including the EPA number. It's toward the bottom.

Never heard of it, but I'm going to look into it.

I posted once, and it didn't show up, so I posted again. Now they are both there!

I'm having a hard time finding a link for it that isn't associated with a specific salesperson. But here's someones site that compares it to bleach and lists all the nasties it kills.

http://babyboomersgogreen.info/?p=851

If I can find it on their main site I'll post the link for you.

That's funny because I actually sell Shaklee products but have never been able to find anything on them being labeled "Hospital Grade". We use all their products in our house and I told my licensor that and she said if it doesn't specify Hospital Grade I'm risking a write up .

I am not aware of a way for a chemical to have disinfectant properties without having some level of human toxicity.

This is true whether a chemical is naturally occuring or man made.

I trust Q-128. It is what I use daily.
