Default DCK Keeps Getting Everyone Sick!!! HELP!

OK, I am not one to "blame" a certain child for getting the other kids sick, but this is the story:

DCK comes Mondays and Wednesdays:
So about 3 weeks ago (on a Wednesday after dck went home), my 2 kids, plus 2 other daycare kids got the stomach bug (vomitting, diarrhea, etc). I texted DCM to inform her that all the kids were sick so she should keep an eye on her son. She texts me back and says "Yeah all of our family except "johnny" already had that on Tuesday." I know I can't tell her not bring dcb if he hasn't been sick, but a heads up that everyone was going to be exposed to it would have been nice.

Then about a week ago (on a monday), she comes in and tells me her oldest son has conjunctivitis. Well, Wednesday when dcb came, he had it too. It didn't show up until about an hour before pick up so I wasn't going to call her to come get him as she was probably already on her way.

Well, now my daughter has conjunctivitis - which she has never had!

And, the final straw is yesterday they dropped off dcb and said "nothing new to report" but then when they picked up, they informed me dcb was exposed to hand foot and mouth disease. I guess they visited their niece and her parents kept saying she only had a fever from teething but have now found out its from HFMD.

I know it's part of the business to be exposed to sickness and get sick and all that, but this seems ridiculous. My daughter was virtually NEVER sick before I started watching this child.

After waking up this morning and seeing my daughter had conjunctivitis, my husband said he wants me to term the family.

What do you think of the situation? What would u do?

I had a boy like this too. Except he had this cough and runny nose that went on for months. At first I thought it was my house, but then dck's started getting sick and they were never sick here before. Then before I went to florida at the beginning of april, I got really bad strep throat, and so did my sister (she only comes on tues with her dd) that was the last straw. I told dad that he better come back not sick or I'm going to have to term him. So (I watched his 6 yr old sister) when I came back, apparently he was really sick for gma the whole time I was gone, but dad wouldn't say anything to me, the sister did. I came back and told dad that he couldn't come back till I got a note because he just kept getting everyone sick. Apparently, he was seeing specialists and getting shots and who knows what else, but dad would not tell me what was wrong with him. All I got was, that he was a kid who gets sick easily. After he left, no one got sick. This year, I don't have them (he is in school) and no one is sick. So I would term this family. I started having parents getting mad because their kids were getting sick and they were never sick before.

Thank you countrymom. I just feel like I am in between a rock and a hard place. It's not like the parents are trying to make their child sick, but I need to look out for my family and the other families.

I think my husband is upset mostly because it seems a little like maybe she is withholding information until it's too late.

I would say that if your husband said to term the child then you need to go ahead and do it- sometimes dads can view things from a perspective different than our own and we need to appreciate their opinion. Some children have a weak immune system, and it sounds like that child you are watching is one of them, which unfortunately affects your own child
