So on an earlier thread, Tom wrote that you can only count a trip for miles if it is primarily for bussiness.
I often take only one daycare child to or from the school my daughter attends. However, when I am not going to her school she walks so can I take that trip for miles. Last edited by Michael; 12-12-2011 at 05:59 PM. |

If you are saying that when it's only your daughter going to school, she walks, and that when you are taking a day care child to school you also take your daughter - then you can count this trip as a business trip. Clearly, the primary purpose is business, because you don't otherwise use your car to go to school.
