Another Napping Question

I have a kindergartner that is here during our 1 hour rest time, he falls asleep every time, but will not go to sleep for his mom at night time. Do I let him stay in another room and play quietly or keep doing what I am doing and let his mom just deal with it? What would you do?

I would just let the boy sleep

. If he's tired, he's tired. Especially with it only being an hour. It's not like you're letting him sleep 3 hours. Mom will figure out a nighttime routine...I don't think the 1hr of sleep at your place is the reason he won't go down for mom at night

Does he stay awake if you let him, or is he so tired he needs to lay down? I let my kindergardeners play in a separate room than the napping kids.
