Yesterday, one of my dck didn't show up. He does this occasionally without calling because he doesn't really NEED care (He comes for the preschool and socialization). I called to ask about payment, because it was pay day. No answer.
Last night I emailed and explained that today, I'd need the 160 regular weekly fee, plus a 10 dollar late fee. He doesn't have to come, but I need my payment
Dad comes into today and says "I understand I owe you a late fee because we didn't come yesterday." I said yes, 10 dollars. He handed me a check for 650.00
<~~ My face probably looked like that. Apparently, it's for the rest of the month. He doesn't want late fees because he doesnt show up on Mondays. lol. Works for me!

One of my parents pays one or two months in advance. Once they paid like 3 or 4 months in advance. That was nice!!

I have a rule that after paying late 3 times, it's one month in advance payment... If you can't afford it, you can't afford me....lol
Only had to do this once.
That is a nice surprise.... enjoy!!

Yep, if we could do that, most of us wouldn't be doing daycare for the low pay we get now!

Great surprise! I had one that did that. It was nice to have that extra for supplies for the whole month instead of having to spread it out weekly.
