I don't know if anyone remembers, but I posted some concerns I have about my almost 4yo dcb a few weeks ago.
Luckily, mom finally had dad take him in for his preschool screening and they are referring him for speech. So I am very happy that it was caught at the screening and that I didn't have to be the one to bring up the issue.
DCP were blaming it on the tester not clicking with their DS, but I said that it might be good to go ahead and look into the referral because I had some of the same concerns regarding his speech. So hopefully with the qualified referral and my agreement they will get him some help. I really don't think it will take much, just a little help to get him headed in the right direction.

I started speech at 3 years old because I pointed at what I wanted and got it. I also let my older sisters do my talking for me. Ever since I got put in Head Start for almost 2 years I have not stopped talking since! (Maybe that is their fear
