I personally prefer bouncy seats. Swings take up a lot of room and the toddlers ALWAYS think they can get in them
That seat was my second choice; I wasn't excited about the rocking chair look of it ~ again those toddlers ~ I went with this one instead:

Cheaper, basic bouncer and my newest baby loves the monkeys
They don't stay in them long, I use them more for a second pair of hands when I am making lunch or doing Morning Meeting. Not constant containment.

Are these even allowed in CA? I know bouncy seats aren't but since it's a bouncy seat and a swing combined I am wondering if this okay to use. Have you checked with licensing? I have a new infant starting soon and would love to know!
