Daycare vs. Preschool?
In Michigan is a preschool considered in the same category as a daycare? I'm interested in opening my own preschool center, but I can only find licensing information on daycares and not preschools. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!

Look up your state childcare regulations. In many states a Preschool which ir normally only 3 or 4 hours for 2 to 4 days a week. does not need to be licensed.
You have got to check your states regulations though.

In Michigan you have to be licensed. Just call Lansing and they can let you know the paperwork you need.
