Is cream DEET as effective as the spray? I hate using the spray but am worried the cream is not as good. Any experience?
This is for my own kids not dck. We are in a high Lyme zone and we camp a lot!

I had already looked at this but appreciate the link to look at it again!! I think I will go ahead and get the cream and see what happens. I assume as long as it had DEET it will work. I may see if the carrier Dioxane is in the cream. Not fond of dioxane!

Unless you are going to use gloves to apply to each child you will be multiplying your contact exposure by going to cream.

Good point! My main concern with spray is lung contact which is MUCH worse than skin contact. No matter what I do I always end up getting some in my lungs which is not good at all! I think putting it on my kids and then washing with soap and water should be ok but thanks for bringing up that point
. I always wash my kids bodies with soap and water at the end of the day as well. This weekend we are going to a friends cabin and it will be long pants and socks but in 100F weather it will be tough!
