I have a dcb, age 17 months, who is seriously testing me at nap time. He has been on the nap mat for about a month with not too many issues. But today he is bound and determined he is going to test me.

When I tell him to get on the nap mat, he goes to where a finger is touching. Then he inches his finger off and goes ever so slowly towards toys. I try to sit next to him as I can, but I have a 5 month old here too.

I would find this funny if I didn't have the baby. Just looking to commiserate

I was gonna say that too...I give my 18 month old dcb "the look" and he instantly is laying down on his mat.

My look is about as fierce as they come - but I have a feeling this boy is never told "no" and everything he does is cute. I've had him for a few months and he just runs away when you tell him "no".

I have an 18 mo. old that I need to transition to our nap mats here pretty soon. Not looking forward to this struggle!
