We're just the other side of the hills from Yorba Linda. We've had 20 in the past 10 1/2 hrs. My kids haven't even noticed them. I have two bags in the car "just in case".

also, does anyone remember that article about that rescue worker who said to not go under furniture?
He said to lay between furniture.
I heard it may be a hoax, I just don't know what to believe anymore.

The last I read was to not go under furniture or stand in doorways.

I have a copy of everyone's contact info and emergency treatment forms in my car.

I have emergency food and water bags near the front door.

We're up to 26 earthquakes in the past 12 hrs.

My kids haven't even noticed the two larger ones we've had this morning.

That's one bonus in Florida, we know in advance when a hurricane is coming. This FL girl would be quaking in her boots, no pun intended.

Lol I have not noticed a single one though people keep telling me. I am so used the them that the only time I notice is when it shakes hard enough and long enough that things fall off the shelf.

We're at 30 so far since 11:30 last night. They are all centered in Yorba Linda. We've only felt two so far.

I think that is like an hour and a half from where I'll be. Shouldn't feel them then. I can deal with floods, tornadoes, snow storms, and ice storms, but I think I would freak in an earthquake

For the most part, earthquakes are short, quick, and over with in a few seconds. CA has a lot of earthquakes everyday that nobody feels. Rarely do we have any damage. It's not like the midwest where whole towns are destroyed by tornados or the gulf areas that have hurricanes that destroy large areas at a time.

Yes, (born and raised in SoCal) but earthquakes don't stress me out. I don't stress or get upset so my kids follow along with my attitude.

My bed slid across the floor with me in it during the Sylmar earthquake.
