MI Daycare- Law question

in reguards to the telephone requirement....am i reading this right that you must have a landline phone? i havent had a landline in years we just use our cell's for everything. thanks

I don't know about MI, but it's quite likely. In Ontario, we have to have a corded landline -- a portable handset isn't good enough. So, I have a cheap corded phone in my kitchen cupboard. If I ever need it, I can grab it and plug it in :-) I'm thinking the landline requirement is so that 911 can easily locate you if ever need to call.

It is no longer a requirement. You must have a phone accessible at ALL times though. In other words your cell phone must be on your body at all times.
