Unhappy All Rowdy Boys and One Girl in Class

Recently, there have been several changes at my daughter's day care. She is in the 2 1/2-3 year old classroom. There is a 1/2 wall and on the other side of the room is the older 3's. The other classroom's teacher left in December and now the Director left in January.

Since then, the kids are getting really rowdy. She is the only girl with 8-9 boys. She had been in classes with most of these kids since they were babies. But now the boys are throwing things, there is biting going on, name calling and general misbehavior. Which is especially worse in the am when both classes are combined to make 12-14 boys and 2-3 girls.

Why do you think? Is it the change the kids are adapting to? Is it turning 3? Is it all of these boys and no girls? Is is a teacher who the kids walk all over??

I am at a loss, my daughter now throws a fit when I leave her. I don't want to leave her with these rowdy boys. I DO NOT believe in the saying "boys will be boys". How should I respond??
