Morgans Wonderland
I just saw this on the news. Morgans Wonderland was developed by a man because of his daugher having developmental delays. This man has developed an amusment park in San Antonio, Texas that caters do children/people that have delays or physical impairments. He has swings that hook up to wheelchairs and the carousel is made to let people in wheelchairs ride it. There was so much there and look so neat. It is opened to everyone and what he is trying to do is bring the two worlds together and show that people with physical delays, mental delays, etc. are people also and deserve to have fun. Isn't it funny we were just talking about playground safety. Parents of children have been seeking out a playground for their children to have fun at but parents of children without needs will not let their children play at playgrounds because they may get hurt. One family moved from California to Texas just so their son could enjoy this park on a weekly basis!
They opened a year ago in April and have had over 100,000 visitors from all over the world.
