Default It's Just So So Sad

Another infant death. A 10 month old little girl was left in a full tub of water with her 3yo brother. Mother left the bathroom and was arguing with boyfriend, she said, when she went in to check on the kids the baby girl was under the water. She ran to a neighbor which was one of my dcm's. When she got there the baby was on the bed lifeless she called 911 and did cpr until medics got there. Baby girl was on machines until yesterday they took her off and she died.

There is no reason in the world for this to happen, you don't leave kids in the bath alone. I wouldn't leave a 3yo alone much less with a 10 month. I just don't understand what she was thinking leaving them alone. It just breaks my heart!

I swear... I think that anyone who wants to procreate should have to take a parenting class, first aid/cpr, have a background check and and IQ test done first!!

Oh, wow. That is awful.

I wonder what is going to happen with mom and brother (and any other immediate family)

So sorry.

I can't imagine having to live with that as a Mother.

I don't think I could.

Nobody thinks it can happen to them, there is a false sense of security that envelopes you when you are home "Safe".

It was a stupid mistake and the price is just too high.
