Interesting Spaghetti....Squid? Octopus? Spider?

Cool! Those hot dogs would be pretty well done after 10 minutes in boiling water though don't you think?

It's worth a try. (Maybe a touch of food dye in the water to make them a color like blue.) hehe!

My mom sent me this idea a few weeks ago. We're making it for lunch on Friday, we'll see how it turns out. It looks so fun!

let me know how it turns out (taste wise i mean). The thing that bothers me about this is I hate when dh cooks the weiners with the Kraft Dinner noodles because then they get cooked in weiner water *barf*. I prefer to cook weiners on their own and then add them after. So it'll be interesting to try spaghetti cooked in weiner water.

Ok, so the kids loved them. Thought they were so cool, and gobbled them up. I thought they were gross. The hot dogs were very overcooked, so very rubbery. And the spaghetti in the middle of the hot dog was firm, not hard, but not soft like the rest of the noodle.
The kids loved them though, so I guess thats what counts.

Did they eat them plain? Just wondering what their choice of dip was.

I would imagine ketchup - kids tend to put ketchup on everything.

I'm curious about this too. Or maybe add it to a spaghetti type sauce?

BTW - I made them at my house and I ended up eating them. Nobody else was brave enough.

The noodles on the inside of the hot dog weren't done enough for my liking.

They might work better with the new 3 minute pasta.
