How Often Do You Give Yourself A Raise?

With the new year coming so quickly, I am comtemplating raising my rates a bit. I have had the same rates since I started 6 1/2 years ago and only raised the PT rates once - 25 cents 5 years ago. Most of my families I've had since their child was a baby so very loyal and great parents(most days).

So how often to do you raise your rates? And what percentage to you increase it by?(I know we can't give specific prices which is fine becuase that would just make me sad since I live in a state where rates are known to be lower than every where else) I don't want to overwhelm them with too big a percentage but I do feel i need to raise the rates after almost 7 years.
