I know this is a reaccuring post on here, but I am just so frustrated!
I have one DCB who has constantly been sick for over a year and a half he has been here! And DCM is never honest or upfront with me causing the illness to spread to everyone in my care. I realize now that I should have termed him in the beginning for not following my sick policies and to stop the spread of germs we all would have been healthier and happier. Anyway, I didn't and now that I am closing down in June I am finding myself in a tough situation - I need the extra income till June, but I am sick and tired of being sick and my child being sick. I am pregnant and it is just to hard on my to deal with every weekend. Right now I can't think of a professional way to say to them enough is enough I am just so frustrated any advice is appreciated. |

If you need the income, just know that spring is on its way and HOPEFULLY most of the horrible flus/illnesses will be gone. Hang in there.

I would hang in there till June and just keep sending him home if he shows up sick. Maybe the mom will term for this but either way, you will not have a sick child in your care. Keep him separated as much as possible by creating a space for just him so he isnt loose to mouth every toy in the room.

Send home as soon as you notice any sign of illness.
I'd also suggest a Germ Guardian. http://www.amazon.com/Germ-Guardian-...3213079&sr=8-1 |

I would keep him, but don't hesitate to send him home every time. If they leave early- who cares

I feel the same way. If he comes sick, send home instantly.

Would you bring up her not following policies and how important it is tonkeep sick kids home to stop the spread... I guess by now she knows and doesn't care. I will just send home at first sign of illness it's only 2 more months |

If you have a parent handbook, I'd print out the sick policy and staple it to the child's daily report every time that he is sick.
