Hi, My name is Shelby. I have been doing some kind of child care since I was 15. I hold myself after a horrible experience with a parent, that I would not go back into child care... but the Lord had other plans!

We are moving into a small rural area, in just over a week. My husband is a pastor , so the reason for the move. A lady asked me out of the blue if I babysat. Well, yes I have... haha!

Anyway, I have decided (after some prayer, and more prayer) to open my home to child care again. I only want to keep 4 little ones at a time.. I just don't want to have 8 to 12 like I did years ago...

I have read Arkansas laws and if I am right I can legally watch 6 with out being licensed.... (if I am wrong like me know)

I also have decided to run it like a business (I'm not going to let someone run over my kindness) so I have made a policy handbook, added a deposit for parents, added a few rules that are needed... like not showing up a 10pm to pick up your child... yes it has happened...

Am I set... I hope so!
