Daycare in Apartment?

Hello All! I am new to this forum and I absolutely love it! I've just earned my Early Childhood credentials and was wondering if it was possible to start a chilcare program in an apartment setting.

As far as doing child care in an apartment, that would be dependent on what your state's rules and regulations are for that. Some states allow it and others do not. Call your licensing department in your state to double check.

From what I can tell the state of Georgia defines a family daycare home as a private residence.

I am interpreting that to mean house, but I could be way off base as I have never really lived in an apartment so I think you should call the licensing department for clarification. The number can be found at the bottom of the page (the link I posted).
