Lightbulb Early Assessment of Programs and Policies to Prevent Childhood Obesity

Here at the CDC, we are working on a project called The Early Assessment of Programs and Policies to Prevent Childhood Obesity. This project is being funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for two years. We are looking at programs and policies taking place around the country and in different settings that are trying to ameliorate childhood obesity. One of our settings is daycares.

We are inquiring if any one is aware of states or cities that have passed nutrition and/or physical activity regulations. One example is NYC's Childcare Regulations pertaining to nutrition and physical activity (more information available at: http://home2.nyc.gov/html/doh/downlo...n-hc-art47.pdf
see page 39 for nutrition requirements and page 45 for physical activity and TV requirements). Is anyone aware of regulations similar to NYC's in other locations?

Thank you,
