I want to build a water/sand table? How??

I want a water/sand table but, the prices are astronomical! I was thinking it wouldn't be too hard to build and it seems like I have seen some of them made from PVC.... Does anyone have a homemade one or suggestions??? Thanks in advance!

Sometimes you may have an old child's table and you cut them out to fit kitchen sink tubs in them. Even an old door... if you have someone handy enough to put legs on an old door... then have them cut it to fit the wash tub in them.
Do you have access to any grants that can help you purchase a table? And another thing... sometimes watch using the sand.. can get in their eyes .. did you think to use rice instead of sand? You can even color it by soaking it in food coloring and water then laying out to dry.
