Disaster Plan for Emergencies


        (a)   Each facility shall have a written disaster    

plan to cover emergencies such as fire, flood, and natural    

disaster.  The plan shall be posted in a prominent place    

in the facility.   

     (b)  The plan shall be approved by the fire    

inspector, the health consultant, or the red cross and    

shall be practiced at regular intervals.     

        (c)     An underwriters laboratory listed fire warning    

device or system shall be installed in each facility.     

Written evidence that the device or system has been    

inspected and approved by a fire inspector shall be on    

file at the facility.     

        (d)     A fire extinguisher shall be available in  every    

room where infants and toddlers are cared for.
