Hello, I'm new! My name is Chesney, and for the past few months I've been running a SMALL daycare service in my apartment. Las Vegas, NV law states that I can have up to four children without being licensed.
I'm currently down to one child, and am working towards getting licensed. Well, I've done a lot of research anyway, and have a plan for when I get 2-3 more kids which is when I'll be able to start the process, because of fee's, classes, etc, plus we want to be able to afford to move into a house, so we have more room for them to play! I currently have our second bedroom converted into a play/nap room, and they also play in the common areas, which is fine for now, but we definitely need more room!
I found this forum by googling and looking up info on running a daycare, and I think there are a lot of great ideas here, and can't wait to see what I can learn from all of you, and hoping I can contribute eventually.
