EntropyControlSpecialist $200 was offered from Fri. night to Sunday afternoon, so I sent my rate sheet.

MizzCheryl The family I did it for paid me a cool $100 bucks per night and picked up by 9am.
It felt like highway robbery as dcg was a fav of mine and I just loved keeping her.
But with parents like that you had to love them.

33 + 30 for a 9 hour day for two children. We would be watching two average 3-year-olds and one 3-year-old with special needs.

I really feel embarrassed to be discussing baby-sitting rates, TBH. We had another family inquire about weekend care today as well.

saved4always I would never do overnight or weekend care because I have a hard time giving up anymore of my free time. But, if I did, it would have to be majorly financially worth my while. I would do at least $100 per child, possibly more if it was a more "difficult" child(ren).

Lilbutterflie Given their current part time rate; I think I would do $40/day & $20/night for each child.

That's less than they pay for part-time child care from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
They pay $33.00 for one child per day and $30.00 for the other child per day.

EntropyControlSpecialist One of our families asked if we would be willing to have their children (Preschool aged multiples) overnight from Friday evening to Sunday morning.
We love the family and we love the children.

What would you charge?
