If the parent supplies all the food for a meal (formula) then you can't claim this as a business deduction. But if you provide any part of the meal, you can. Tom, a food tax question. I've heard that I could claim food I feed babies (formula, breast milk, baby food) as a standard deduction even if I don't actually buy the formula/baby food. I've never claimed infants in the past, until I started giving table foods, so I wanted to check and see which is correct in this case? |
