Ariana In general they tend to be much more lenient with electric than gas but definitely check licensing.

Jupadia You would have to find out what your state or city allowed, sometimes it can even be based on a particular area in a city.

I ran my daycare in the basement of my home and we had a galley kitchen - fridge, electric stove and a washer/dryer. It was formerly used as a rental apartment and I had no issues when we made it a daycare.

I am in Massachusetts, not sure what your state allows.
