I'm looking for a self-help book about learning to not let things bother you, learning to let go of things you can't control, etc.

Does anyone know of any?

The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer

I scored my copy from a free library after my sister highly recommended it. It's about letting things go such as habitual thoughts and emotions. I admit I have not read it yet(presently sitting in a stack with a dozen other 'to-be-read' books) but it might help you.

Another one that crossed my mind is Untamed by Glennon Doyle and that focusses more on becoming the person YOU are meant to be instead of trying to live up to others' expectations. I have read this one and liked it a lot.

I downloaded Master Your Emotions on Kindle...it was free! We'll see how that one is.

Gosh, there are so many books out there! It's hard to know which one will be a good fit for me :)
