We Are Making New Years Hats Today
They are so stinking cute! I will try to post pics of them later, but I used some really inexpensive bulletin board trim (this is what I used: http://www.orientaltrading.com/metal...388881&tabId=3
We cut them to size for the kids heads, used pipe cleaners, coiled them up and put jingle bells and beads on them, and stapled it to the crown. So cute1 they are all so excited! :) Edited to add a picture. It's hard to make out because the wee one is on the move, but you get the idea.http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...47943372_n.jpg |

Thanks for the idea! I was looking up new years hats last night and couldnt find any cute ones.
We're also making new years shakers. Dried beans in empty water bottles, and decorating the bottles with glitter, glue and 2012 foam numbers. Then hot gluing the top on the bottle for a fun noise maker. I am sure the parents will appreciate the noise. |
would love pics!! That sounds too cute!

Bumping this up because I added the pic to the original post.
