I'm right there with you!

My 4yo dcg starts preK Monday. She is a smart, precocious little thing but she is also a MEAN girl. You know the ones that want it their way and if they don't get it the turn mean! Well honestly she is mean/manipulating to all the kiddos regardless of getting her way or not.

I'll miss her, but will enjoy not having to referee all day. Her parents are great DC parents though (My dd played volleyball with dcm in high school).

I hear you! It's my granddaughter's last day here too and I've got mixed emotions about it. Obviously I'll miss seeing her every day, but she's SUCH a kindergartner - totally into the "I'm not your best friend anymore" type behavior with her cousin, who reinforces the behavior by crying and whining and freaking out.

I think I'm going to like being a regular Grandma instead of a "daycare Grandma" likethis
