Orange Food=Vomit?
 

So we have a little girl in our center, she will be one next month. Mom started her on baby food a couple months ago. Recently anything orange, Squash,carrots, peaches cause her to vomit. Not a whole lot but still. What could cause this? Any food thats not orange (peas, green beans,pears,meats,and apples, bananas) are fine. Mom is confused and so are we. Child has no known allergies but was on 6-7 differnt kinds of formula before they put her on elecare.

Possibly red dye? Or is this real natural foods not in a jar?

I would say the dye if it's only associated with color...

Baby food doesn't have dye in it.

BUT orange produce is really high in vitamin C so it's possible that it's just too acidic for her right now.

Could be beta carotene intolerance or allergy. It is pretty common in Eurpope for kids to have issues with it. Not so much in the US. Probably has to do with diet, as most things seem to.
