Thanksgiving Meal?
So what are you all doing in regards to a Thanksgiving meal for the dcks?
I have everyone today and tomorrow and then only a few Wednesday (closed Thurs/Fri) so I'm thinking about just a little Thanksgiving meal tomorrow. Maybe just a rotisserie chicken and some mashed potatoes and green bean casserole and then maybe some pie for dessert. What is everyone else doing? |
We are having "clean out the freezer and fridges " this week. lol. I have to make room, so we are having a clean out the fridge and freezer week using up any bits and leftovers. lol.

I have all of my little ones tomorrow so we doing turkey (already prepared in the box, just have to nuke it), green bean casserole, augratin potatoes, mandarin oranges and biscuits. :)
We are going to make placemats in the morning for them to use at lunch. |
Nothing fancy. We did chicken nuggets today and will probably continue on the easy to make and everyone will eat theme this week. My kids are all rather picky and won't try new things so I introduce new things slowly. We probably won't give them our leftovers because I know they'll be getting that at home too so we'll do other stuff. We usually cook a turkey for them at another time of the year (last year it was March or April) and freeze leftovers to have off and on for several months.

Since Wednesday, I have 1 dcg that is 7 months old, and Mom won't let her eat baby food at lunch yet, guess she will get her usual, Mum Mum's. Not my choice, but all Mom will send. Btw, she eats cereal and fruit for lunch. Breakfast not lunch, sorry.

My kids aren't overly fond of it, dc kids don't mind though. (I have more dc kids at dinner time than at lunch time...) |
