How Do I Word This? - Change of Hours Letter

I no longer want to offer extended hours to any family but ONE very easy family. I'm actually hoping by discontinuing this that one of my clients leaves.

I am stressed to the max. I'm a new single Mom who is having to do it all (while my husband continues to lie, steal, manipulate, etc.) for my son while I am going through a high risk pregnancy with extreme morning sickness that wakes me up in the middle of the night. I just can't do the long hours anymore with more than 1 child. I can't.

How do I word this?

Dear families,
I will no longer be able to accommodate early or late hours due to unforeseen circumstances as of Monday, January 28. Our regular business hours of 8:00-5:00pm will continue on as normal.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Thank you,
Tired lady

I'm sorry you are going through all this.
I would write:

Dear dcf,

Due to unforeseen circumstances I will no longer be able to.provided extended care. Beginning Mon, Jan 28th my business hours will be 8am-5pm.

Thank you for understanding,
Dcp

What you wrote sounds okay, but the first sentenance is a little wordy and ive foubd small simple sentences are best when talking to parents! Lol sorry for typos. Im onmy phone!

Take care of YOU!

Don't do anything that requires you to give or do anything more than you are able to do easily right now.

Please make sure you put YOU first.

((((hugs)))). I know you are going through a difficult time emotionally right now so hang in there and have faith that things will be ok. :)

Just give the above letter to all your DCF's except for the one family you are wanting to make the exception for.

I was going to e-mail it because most of the parents don't read the paper letters I give them. They only read the e-mails. :ouch:

Just my opinion, but I would discontinue extended care for all families. I think you need and deserve that. (((hugs))). Take care of yourself, best wishes.

If I did, I would lose 3 kids very likely instead of the 2 from this clients family.

I'll e-mail some people that were interested awhile ago and see if they still are. The Lord will protect us, I just don't want to be too gung ho about losing income. LOL.

I sent it to some. I will send it to the rest by the end of this week, I believe.
I was offering that extra hour in the morning for free and they were paying (on an as needed basis) for the extra hour in the evening. I just cannot do it anymore.
