MN Infant question
 

Silly question....I have an infant (8 mos) in my care. Can be in a room in a crib out of my sight? It is 10 feet away from me. There is just too much stimulation in the main dc room and baby is needing some cio time. I don't use monitors.
I can sure still hear baby:confused:

Need to be able to either hear or see. Should be fine, no need for a monitor, you can hear baby without one. Also, I believe they want us visualizing baby every 10 or 15 minutes.

The crib can be in another room for naps (or trying to nap :p). You just have to check on him/her every ten minutes. I leave the door shut but all the way so that when I check on the baby, the door doesn't make any noise in the latch. I also have a baby monitor for when he's making noise. I turn it off when he's crying just because I can hear him from the other room and don't need it amplified. :ouch:
