In Home Daycare in Florida Still Waiting...
 

Hi everyone!

I'm super excited to start my home daycare here in South West Florida. I sent all my paperwork, background check, and had already finished all the 30 hours required. I sent my check and everything was cleared as of June 1st.

I haven't received any feedback from Tallahassee yet and was wondering if anyone else in Florida knew how long the wait usually is? I know in Florida everything takes much longer than it should but I can't get any straight answers from anyone. Help!

I'm sure you've gotten your responses by now, but I have to agree that in Florida it takes FOREVER.

I found that the only way to get any response was to call and call and call. It took me over three months from start to finish to get registered and I'd already completed the 30 hours before that process began.
