While appreciation is often limited or simply assumed, it is important that you know your work IS appreciated!!!

Happy Provider Day-weekend.know that you do make a difference in the families lives.I am in the process of selling the home where I provided care for 63 children.I took care of these families the last 27 yrs.It has been tough getting rid of all the toys and equipment.You accumulate a lot in almost 30 yrs.As I closed the door Friday for the last time (we pass papers Mon)a car pulled up.Out jumped a old client.I cared for his son 10 years ago.The child was one of the special ones.You know the child that you really miss .We exchanged news and memories.Then he said "your home and you were special.He said that his son is doing so well because he had a good start with me".That was exactly what I needed.Driving away I felt like I had made a difference.So remember familyday care is important.Youcan and do make a difference in the childrens lives.Enjoy.
