Sleep Problems Linked To Aggressive Behaviors

In light of the thread on naps:

Short 1 minute video but has some merit in my opinion. I'd be interested in reading the article in its entirety.

Yay

Start the convo.

The apnea and snoring... would be a pretty small population in kids but it's easy to talk about quickly and gives the discussion something that happened TO the child instead of something that is being done with the child.

That's going to sell.

My take on sleep after having many years of ***wonderful*** sleepers and NO aggression in my kids...

No cat napping. No twenty minute naps.
No drop dead Fred sleeping. Put them to bed long before they pass out.
No "my baby sets their own schedule". After the first birth to three months... put them on a sleep/feed/activity routine
No lulling to sleep by feeding, rocking, swinging, etc. I put kids to bed wide awake.
pitch black dark room
cool air and warm blanket or blanket sleeper

exercise (good cardio workout)
healthy food

Mix it all together and you get a great behaving kid who is healthy and happy.
