OT- What Websites Do You Frequent
 

Throughout the day I usually just hit this forum, email, a couple local news sites, a few "daily deals" kids stuff sites (kids woot, baby/kid steals, mamabargins), occasionally my facebook and that's about it. I always hit up google when I need to find things but if I'm just surfing I'm out of good websites! lol!

I'm finding more and more I get on the Internet in the evening and end up just staring at my email welcome screen wondering were to go. I'm bored of my usually websites (minus this one of course!) and am wonder what other sites (daycare related or not) do you frequent?

I've been researching Black Friday ads lately.

We always need something here so I'm usually looking up the best price on that too....

I go to babycenter . I have learned so much about what moms of babies believe when it comes to parenting methods. My oldest is 15. My youngest is 13 months. I do extended breastfeeding and feel strongly about that, as well as a few other things. So it's always nice going online to read about what other moms are doing or experiencing when it comes to the same things like ,Elimination communication (babycenter and a very active facebook group), baby led solids , extended breastfeeding, extended rear facing, non vaccinating(babycenter's non/selective/delayed vaccinatinggroup), being a babywise mom,and more .

My son tells us when he has to go potty using the potty sign. And he also goes everytime we take him, (IF he has to go) . There are not many parents in real life/offline who I can chit chat with about that. So many moms of 2010 babies are just now talking about pottytraining,while my Sept 2012 baby is already telling me when he has to go !

I also go on youtube to uplado home videos,and watch them. We also use netflix either on the computer, or on tv at night,when we don't know what to watch .

Oh and I used to surf a few of the populuar sites for work at home mom cloth diapers . And Ebay for just about anything ,especially toys oh my gosh... lol
Im a big kid and LOVE buying toys as much as my kids do,lol. Looking for stuff they don't sell anymore ,neat stuff , lego stuff, doll stuff... Oh and I frequent a doll forum too. I used to make Reborn Dolls,and still do it on occasion. I also custom root, hair for Reborn dolls or silicone dolls. It's an interesting kind of art.

LOL, funny thread OP. I end up staring at my screen alot too. I have my same routine I cycle through too.
1. Outlook email (business email)
2. Yahoo email (personal)
3. This forum

6. Craigslist just to see what other ads people are posting, send any horrible pics to my mom to talk about, see if any new providers are popping up.
7. Craigslist just to see if there are any Step2 big items.

Then I'm done and have no where else to go! I've googled just about ever single thing I've ever wondered. And I've burnt myself out on all baby research after I looked up EVERYTHING a PP said (Holiday Park, yay, we would be friends in real life!).

Oh, so you are saying that on a weekend, when we get tons of spam, you posted many links to websites (much like spammers do). :p

I hate to say it but MOST LIKELY when I was flying through those couple hundred spam posts I PROBABLY deleted it because I could not tell the difference. :(

What are your hobbies outside of work Lyss?

I hunt, fish and am crazy about critters. As such with snippits of free time I hit up a hunting/fishing forum to network with others about food plots, gear, to share successes etc., a dog forum as I've got far too many and am pretty particular when it comes to training and diet, a horse forum for help with my bratty Quarab and on very rare occasion a chinchilla forum for my daughter when hers is being a bit perplexing lol

Think about what you like, the internet undoubtedly has others just itching to talk "shop" with you too!

I'm finding myself actually burned out on the computor. I think its because I have a couple that don't nap and I have to sit here with them day in and day out and the only thing to do is surf the computor. I would love to be doing about 100 other things then be on the computor for the whole time.
