Zoo-phonics
I am new to home child care and from the research I have done it looks like a preschool program is a big selling point in my area. I mostly plan on using an emergent curriculum and planning themes based on the children's interests, but I want to have some sort of program to show parents that we are doing preschool activities.
Does anyone use Zoo-phonics? Have you purchased one of their packages? I can't tell which would be best for a home child care setting. I know they use zoo-phonics in our local school districts so I think it would be a good program to get the kids started on. |
love love love this program and the kids do too.
It is very expensive and there is a lot of reading on the teachers part. I am in CA and will be attending one of their workshops in april... |

If I were you I would purchase the small home kit that includes the letter cards (lower case) and start with that.... |
