Daycare Insurance

Does anyone mind sharing what their monthly (or yearly) premium is for Daycare insurance in their home?

I need to renew mine, but i paid about 300 a year through Thomco. Its really quite inexpensive.

I am fortunate that mine is thrown in with my house insurance. It stipulates 5 children in daycare on the contract but other than that no premiums. My house insurance is 80$ a month, though.

I pay $544 yearly for $1,000,000/$3,000,000 liability coverage.

I am insured as group family care.

I looked on my carrier's site and for the same liability coverage as I have, in California, you would pay $1168...which IS odd since it is for the same coverage amounts and the same amount of children as I have.

Thanks for sharing! I am just trying to get an idea of what is out there :)

I think mine is $580 for $1,000,000/$3,000,000. It was more because I have an above the ground pool (daycare kids don't use)

I pay $290 through State Farm for $1,000,000

Question?

OK, don't laugh at me...but do I need to have insurance for the daycare?

I'm able to keep up to 12 kids at once.

What does the insurance cover?

Thnaks

it is a sure way to lose your house if "God Forbid" something goes wrong and you don't have it. It would be deductible from your taxes so I don't see why you wouldn't have it.
