Holidays Off
It is in the handbook, it is laminated and posted right in front of the door where you simply cannot miss it. And yet, a parent who is being reminded about the fact that we are closed on the Fourth of July looks baffled, puzzled, confused even. She asked how much care would cost on that day. Ummm we are closed. Why is it that parents cannot conceive the notion that providers need breaks too?

Either that, or some people still think that teachers live at school and don't eat or have homes, that Santa and the tooth fairy are real, and that babies grow in cabbage patches or are delivered by the stork. |
Anyway, you missed your chance to make some major extra money! When she asked how much care would be that day, you should have said, $100. Or $150. :p :D

One of my parents seemed shocked we are closed on the fourth for the holiday! Fortuantly her kid doesnt come on wed so it worked out. But really thats pretty normal around here
