Flip flops or any other shoes that were easy for the parents to slap on but cause twisted toes/ankles when the kids try to run around outside.
Crocs, lace-up shoes, or any other shoes that toddlers can't put on themselves.
Crib shoes on kids who've started walking.
Skinny pants, stretch pants, or too-tight leggings that the kids can't handle.
White shirts on kids who crawl! Those shirts WILL be brown at pick up. Also, unless we're eating soup I only use bibs on the really little ones, because I want the big ones to
want
to get the food to their faces without spilling it. Daycare time is learning time. I'm not wrapping the kids up to keep their clothing pristine. Big kids in white shirts will come home with drips down their front.
Rompers with buttons all over them. I only had one family who sent their kid in that, and of course she was the baby of constant blowouts.
Fancy hairdos with barrettes and bobbles and things. Those will come out during the day, and I don't know how to get the hair back to the same way they came with that morning. My romper mom would get huffy if the barrette went missing, too.
